Commercial firm expands sectors with key hires

NAR: Home price gains revealed in metro markets

Nearly seven out of 10 metro markets registered home price gains in the first quarter as 30-year fixed mortgage rates fluctuated between 6.1 percent and 6.7 percent, according to the National Association of REALTORS latest quarterly report.

Seven percent of the 221 tracked metro areas registered double-digit price increases over the same period, down from 18 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022.

CoreLogic: S&P Case-Shiller Index comeback evident for March

CoreLogic: Mortgage delinquency rates drop to all-time low

CoreLogic recently released its monthly Loan Performance Insights Report for March.

Early-stage delinquencies (30 to 59 days past due) were 1.1 percent, unchanged from March 2022.

FHFA: U.S. house prices rise

U.S. house prices rose 4.3 percent between the first quarters of 2022 and 2023, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency House Price Index. House prices were up 0.5 percent compared with the fourth quarter of 2022.

NFIB: Record high job openings remain for small businesses

HECM changes finalized

AQB adopts new edition of Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria

On June 22, the Appraiser Qualifications Board voted to adopt the Second Exposure Draft of proposed changes to the Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria. The new edition will become effective on Jan. 1, 2026.
