Appraisal Institute removes Steinley from his role as VP

Appraisal Institute (AI) Vice President Craig Steinley, who is facing allegations of sexual harassment from several women within the organization, told AI’s Board of Directors a week ago that he was “stepping away” from his public AI officer appearances, effective immediately.
On Wednesday evening, AI’s 28-member Board “determined it was no longer tenable for Craig Steinley to continue as an officer,” according to AI President Paula Konikoff.
In a statement to Valuation Review, Steinley called AI's decision "disappointing" and said he will “vigorously" defend himself over what he described as “baseless claims."
