Fannie Mae issued updates on June 4 relating to the UAD 3.6, according to a report from the National Association of Appraisers (NAA).

NAA recommended three of them should be reviewed carefully by appraisers.

The June 4 updates include:

• UAD 3.6 Messaging guide to errors from Collateral Underwriter is a worksheet that includes error messages you will see in your software E&O checker or receive from a client on revisions.

The final update is for lenders to stay up to date on policy changes, but it will also help appraisers stay up to date.
