The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) President Kelly Davids presented her June newsletter to appraisers with monthly highlights and important announcements for the profession.
TAF announced the upcoming launch of its new website in early July, which will usher in a wide range of changes to enhance the customer experience. This will include a new and improved webstore, the ability to purchase course bundles, extended licensing offerings and a new fulfillment center.
“We look forward to delivering a better experience to you very soon, but as part of this transition, we will be closing our webstore for a fifteen-day period from June 17-to-30,” Davids said. “If you have a course coming up or know that you will need any materials during this window, please order them now. The store will be closed beginning June 17 and will not reopen until June 30.”
The TAF president also noted that if appraisers purchased any digital products through TAF’s current store, they should log into their account and ensure all digital products are downloaded to their computer as appraisers will no longer be able to access them otherwise after store closure.
“We are so excited about the reimagined customer experience you will be enjoying later this summer,” Davids said. “Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our services to continue our mission to build public trust and advance standards of excellence in the appraisal profession.”
TAF also expressed thanks to everyone who has submitted comments to the open concept papers and the Job Analysis Survey over the last two months. The AQB (Appraiser Qualifications Board) and ASB (Appraisal Standards Board) could not do their work without the critical feedback from stakeholders.
TAF also introduced its newest trustees, appointing eight individuals to new terms beginning January 1, 2026. Lutalo McGee was immediately seated as a trustee to fill a vacancy, while both Randal Dawson and Meredith Meuwly have been reappointed for additional terms.
As previously announced in an earlier story in Valuation Review, Jeff Morley is a new trustee, while joining him are Daniel Figurski, Randy Flowers, Lydia Pope, Russel Rice and Mike Twitty.
