Just because many of the big financial players who contributed to the Great Recession by selling substandard mortgage-backed securities already have faced the music in court, doesn’t mean that there are no other bad actors to pursue. That’s the message of New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who still is looking to pursue fraud cases against irresponsible banks.
