House passes Dodd-Frank reform bill with appraisal revisions

The U.S. House of Representatives passed bipartisan legislation on May 22 that would roll back many post-financial-crisis banking rules found in the Dodd-Frank Act.

Zillow class action dismissed, again

For a second time, a judge in the U.S. Northern District Court of Illinois ruled in favor of Zillow and granted the motion to entirely dismiss the lawsuit filed against them, claiming the company’s Zestimates are appraisals.
