A Federal Housing Administration (FHA) appraiser training course has been scheduled for June 26, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., ET at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Richmond Field Office in Richmond, Va. The course is titled “FHA Appraisal Training” with check-ins taking place 30 minutes prior to the start of the session, the FHA announced.
This free, on-site training will provide an overview of the appraisal requirements outlined in FHA’s Single Family Housing Policy Handbook 4000.1. The training will include discussions on the FHA Appraiser Roster and the appraisal validity period, as well as requirements for property inspections, manufactured homes, water and septic systems, and attic and crawl space inspections.
This training is intended for appraisers, underwriters and lender management personnel with all levels of experience; however, other mortgage professionals may also benefit from attending, FHA said.
