Newmark recently announced the appointment of James Renner as senior managing director and Valuation & Advisory (V&A) market leader for the New England region, according to a press release.
Renner will oversee operations across Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont from the firm’s Boston office.
“James brings an exceptional depth of market knowledge and trusted leadership, further connecting and amplifying V&A’s myriad of leadership across the U.S.,” Helene Jacobson, executive managing director and U.S. Practice lead, Valuation & Advisory, said in the release. “His reputation for quality, integrity and precision aligns seamlessly with our standard of excellence. We’re thrilled to welcome him to Newmark.”
Renner brings over 30 years of valuation experience and a robust institutional background to his new role. Prior to joining Newmark, he served as vice president and lead of Commercial Valuations at Wells Fargo Bank’s Real Estate Valuation Services.
In that position, Renner managed appraisal procurement and review efforts to support the bank’s commercial loan collateral.
