ACI announced this week the release of ACI Sky (Sky), what it calls the industry’s first full-featured, web-based appraisal platform. An advancement that re-engineers how and where appraisers work, Sky ushers in a new type of valuation technology with freedom from desktop or device-centric apps.
Sky includes a library of more than 500 forms, plus tools for data collection, public records, floor plans, location maps, flood determinations, Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) guidance, MISMO XML delivery, and ACI’s industry-leading PARLogic review.
Sky was designed to be both browser-agnostic and device-agnostic, and features a responsive web interface to optimize user experience across the latest devices, the company said in a news release. Compatibility with ACI’s desktop appraisal software, ACI Report, provides appraisers with the ability to ease into Sky, and the flexibility of being completely mobile. Appraisers can be productive immediately by uploading ACI, MISMO XML, or PDF files into Sky. Users also can import their picklists or “common responses” for even quicker reporting.
“Appraisers now have the freedom to work anywhere, anytime, and on all the latest devices, regardless of the assignment type,” ACI Senior Vice President George Opelka said in the press release. “The appraisal industry has been waiting on this for a long time, and we’re thrilled to be at the forefront for appraisal professionals that want to be part of the next generation.”
Sky inherited several features from ACI Report to provide familiarity for ACI appraisers, such as form shortcuts and UAD helper windows. Sky-exclusive features, including enhanced form searching and filtering, digital signing using your fingertip, and drag-and-drop photo imaging technology, heightens the product’s usability.
