The National Appraisal Network (NAN) has added a new team member to the organization. Margaret Myles, with more than 29 years of experience in the appraisal industry, will be a QC Analyst for NAN in California.
Myles moved to California in 1976. She began work in her mother’s appraisal firm starting as an office manager, and continued her climb up the ladder within the industry.
As owner of MJM Appraisal Services in Irvine, Calif., a company Myles started in 1986, she worked as an independent contractor for various banks and lenders doing both field and review appraisal work for single family residences, luxury residences, condominiums and small income properties.
“The addition of Margaret Myles is instrumental to NAN continuing to ensure quality appraisal efforts for our clients, particularly on the West Coast,” Quality Assurance & Compliance Director Cristy Conolly said, in the press release. “Having a local appraisal expert is invaluable in these markets.”
Myles was also a Review Appraiser I at Interthinx, performing quality control and investigation appraisal reviews on failed loans for the Fannie Mae projects, while at eTrade Financial, she handled family appraisal assignments for conventional loans.
