The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) President Kelly Davids shared with appraisers many of the strides the organization has made when it comes to TAF’s boards, councils, and the Foundation itself. Davids outlined these achievements by way of the TAF July newsletter.

“The first half of this year has gone by in a flash,” Davids wrote in the newsletter. “I want to highlight the launch of two new resources TAF has been involved in. First off, I am so pleased to announce the release of Home Appraisal Help by Progressive Insurance. The TAF team, along with the subject matter experts we contracted with, provided the appraisal expertise as we worked with the Progressive team over the last 18 months.

“These resources are precisely the type of interactive consumer tools that will help the public better understand the appraisal process,” Davids added. “We are looking forward to expanding their use throughout our networks.”

The TAF president also pointed out her delight with her team as it relates to the sharing of TAF’s new and improved website and webstore. She hopes appraisers will take some time to check it out and return to those sites throughout the rest of the year as the organization continues to add new content and tools to improve the appraiser’s experience.
