As real estate markets grow increasingly interconnected, seamless data sharing has become a critical component of success, spanning local, national, and global boundaries. CoreLogic looks to solve the challenges with its platform Trestle Share, according to a release from the company.
Data sharing empowers agents to better serve their clients, grow their business through referrals and, in many cases, reduce costs. And despite its importance, traditional data sharing methods remain costly and time-consuming, slowing progress and collaboration. The reliance on standalone connections, custom mapping, and repetitive onboarding introduces unnecessary complexity, inflates costs, and further delays efficiency.
CoreLogic’s Trestle Share solves these challenges with a centralized database that makes onboarding and data-sharing connections much simpler, the company stated. Once listing data is mapped and onboarded, organizations can easily create new connections, saving time and money. This scalable approach not only meets current needs but also sets organizations up for future growth.
The advancements in data sharing Trestle Share offers are creating collaborative opportunities between multiple listing service (MLS) markets including a recent partnership between the Real Estate Information Network (REIN) and Central Virginia Regional MLS (CVR MLS).
As data share partners, the two markets have expanded perceived boundaries and given more than 16,000 agents access to a combined pool of over 280,000 listings, allowing them to better serve clients and unlock new listing marketing opportunities.
“The prohibitive costs of traditional data-sharing models had long been a barrier, but with Trestle Share, we were able to address the immediate need for a data share between REIN and CVR in a cost-effective way,” Joan Giffey, executive vice president of REIN, said in the release. “Trestle Share also offered the flexibility to seamlessly add additional participants with a manageable investment of both time and resources.”
With Trestle Share, the future of real estate data sharing is already here by making data sharing simpler, faster, and more affordable, Corelogic stated. By removing traditional barriers, it helps agents and organizations connect more easily, serve clients better, and prepare for future growth.
