Amorin has been engaged in the real estate appraisal and consulting arena since 1988 and recently authored “The Generative Shift: Preparing Appraisers for Artificial Intelligence Models like ChatGPT.”
Hecht is the appraisal training and development manager at McKissock and is a certified real estate appraiser with over 30 years of experience specializing in developing training focused on market analysis, USPAP, and real estate economics.
The two touched on several topics including artificial intelligence’s potential in communications and business development, how to fully support adjustments to enhance credibility as an appraiser and maintaining integrity in your analyses amidst rising scrutiny from regulators.
Changes to the Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) forms and their impact on reporting structures were also hot topics, while new waiver thresholds and other moves from the secondary market were presented.
