Ascribe, a national provider of residential and commercial valuation, evaluation, property inspection, and REO services to mortgage lenders and servicers, has appointed mortgage industry veteran Lora Helt as its senior vice president of national sales, according to a press release.
Helt will further the company’s plan for continued expansion among mortgage lenders and services, the company stated.
“Ascribe’s expansion strategy has always included acquisition and organic growth,” Ascribe President Mark Johnson said in the release. “We were looking for someone with a history of growing client relationships regardless of the mortgage cycle. I have known Lora for years and she is the perfect fit for this role.”
Like the vast majority of Ascribe’s executives and many of the company’s customer-facing staff, Helt brings years of experience in mortgage origination and servicing to her role.
“Ascribe’s organic growth throughout our acquisitions has been driven largely by our high service levels, which was paramount to our business throughout multiple transitional periods,” Ascribe Chief Revenue Officer Kelly Taylor said. “In our next phase, we’re focusing on proactive, strategic growth, a key area where Lora excels. She brings the exact skills we need to drive success.”
Helt’s career includes executive roles with Altisource and Bradford Technologies as well as certification and experience as a licensed residential appraiser.
“The number one draw for me to Ascribe was the quality of the people that have been brought together on this team,” Helt said. “From the executives to staff, everything is best in class at Ascribe, which is really rare. Together I know we can make a big difference with this business. I’m thrilled for this opportunity.”
Ascribe CEO Jake Nice further outlined the company’s vision reflecting this hire.
“It was always our plan to build out the team with highly experienced, respected professionals who know and understand our clients’ unique issues,” Nice said. “Everyone at Ascribe is proud to welcome Lora to the team.”
