United Lender Services hires a new director of IT

United Lender Services Corp. (ULS), a national title and settlement services and appraisal management company, announced that Chris Behning has been appointed as director of information technology. Behning brings more than 30 years of experience in information technology management, strategic planning and business development, having broad experience in title and appraisal vendor management and software development in the mortgage services industry.
Prior to joining the ULS team, Behning was the chief information officer at National Real Estate Information Services (NREIS), where he managed both the software development and technology infrastructure and was instrumental in launching the new operating platform. He provided leadership and a framework that actively identified the business needs and resolved critical issues. He has held a number of prominent IT management positions throughout his career in the mortgage services industry.
Behning is a member of both the Mortgage Bankers Association and the American Land Title Association and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh.
