Cushman & Wakefield welcomed a new executive to its real estate team. Elizabeth Champagne is the company’s executive managing director and area leader for the Valuation and Advisory’s Northern California/Pacific Northwest region, the company said.
She will be responsible for the everyday operation of the California offices in San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento and Walnut Creek along with Portland, Ore.; Seattle; Reno, Nev.; Salt Lake City; and Denver. In this capacity she will help nurture existing client relationships, procure new clients and develop services through targeted business expansion efforts.
“I was recruited and hired by C&W to lead and grow the Norcal/Pacific Northwest region, which is my goal for 2017,” Champagne said in a press release. “I am extremely excited about this opportunity to work with one of the world’s premier real estate firms.”
Champagne has expertise in the appraisals of diverse ranges of property types including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hotel, medical office, restaurant, parking garage, biotech, laboratory, affordable housing, residential subdivision, master-planned business park, bank branch, and special purpose properties. She has 30 years of professional experience in the fee preparation and review of real estate appraisals, feasibility studies, rent analyses, highest and best use and market studies of commercial and residential properties.
Champagne has more than 20 years of appraisal management experience operating large and successful commercial appraisal companies with a well-rounded real estate background, including serving as an assessor for the city of Newton, Mass., involved in syndicated acquisitions, and as a loan servicer/underwriter and appraiser for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Farmers Home Administration and the Department of Interior’s Fish and Wildlife Service.
