Strategic Vantage, one of the nation’s largest marketing and public relations agencies dedicated to the mortgage industry, announced that Sam Garcia has been hired as mortgage media specialist. He will be a critical liaison to the press, ensuring the effective communication of client initiatives, the company announced in a press release.
Garcia was the owner of the Dallas-based mortgage brokerage Nations Mortgage Co. and was the founding partner of KPG Financial, a Dallas-based wholesale lender. He then went on to found Mortgage Daily, the first online-only news publication for the mortgage industry, while becoming a full-time online news reporter in 2000 at a time when the news sector was just beginning its digital transformation.
“With Sam’s vast mortgage industry knowledge, editorial experience and connections with the press, he will provide our clients with invaluable assistance,” Strategic Vantage President and CEO Rosalie Berg said in the release.
“I loved every moment I spent publishing news, but this was a great opportunity for me to capitalize on the experience and skills I have acquired,” Garcia said.
