HouseCanary announced the appointment of Niti Bashambu to the position of chief product officer. In her new role, Bashambu will lead product strategy and operations, product management, design and user experience.
Bashambu’s hire comes at a crucial time in the company’s growth, as it continues to scale its roster of institutional investor clients and further develops its offering for consumers under the ComeHome brand. Bashambu will oversee the development of products derived from HouseCanary’s powerful platform, which uses sophisticated machine learning models on more than 200 data sets to determine the current and future valuations for 100 million residential properties, HouseCanary announced in a press release.
“Niti’s long track record of success and expertise in product strategy makes her the ideal candidate to shepherd our product offerings as we continue to scale the business,” HouseCanary co-founder and CEO Jeremy Sicklick said in the release. “We are excited to have her on the team and look forward to the contributions she will make as we continue to set the industry standard in valuation accuracy.”
Prior to joining HouseCanary, Bashambu was the chief analytics officer at IAC Applications, where she led the global data science, product, marketing analytics, and business intelligence teams.
“HouseCanary has raised the bar for residential real estate valuations, setting a new benchmark for accuracy with their unparalleled product platform. I couldn’t be more excited to join the team at this pivotal moment in the company’s development,” Bashambu said. “HouseCanary is currently delivering incredible value for its customer base and I look forward to playing a key role in the development of the company’s next generation of product offerings.”
