BBG, a leading independent national commercial real-estate valuation, advisory and assessment firm, today announced the appointment of the former chief appraiser of FirstMerit Bank, the latest hire in a series of high-profile appointments.
Kenneth Konrath was named as Senior Managing Director whose responsibilities will include new business development, quality control and appraisal review.
Konrath’s many responsibilities previously included management of the appraisal and environmental review divisions dealing with credit risk advisory, implementation of appraisal and environment policies, oversight of all commercial and residential valuations and product development.
At FirstMerit, he also managed a commercial, residential appraisal and environmental staff located throughout the Midwest. The commercial department was responsible for the appraisal and environmental management of more than 4,000 orders annually while the residential department was responsible for more than 20,000 appraisals annually.
