Appraisal Logistics (ALS) announced that Steven Rouse, regional account manager for the Midwest, will be assuming a leadership position on the boards of two industry trade associations, according to a release from ALS.
Rouse was elected committee chairman for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) of St. Louis and president-elect of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women of the St. Louis greater area, the company said.
“Bringing Steven aboard in July was the right decision for Appraisal Logistics,” Appraisal Logistics CEO Frank Danna said in the release. “He has been a great addition to our team, and now he will share his leadership and experience with two important industry trade associations. I'm very proud of his willingness to take on these additional responsibilities.”
The St. Louis Mortgage Bankers Association is the second-oldest MBA chapter in the U.S. and has long been on the forefront of legislative issues relevant to its membership. Member firms include a majority of St. Louis’ leading banks and mortgage companies, area mortgage brokers, and some of the nation's largest lenders.
The St. Louis chapter of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women was formed to promote and foster high quality, comprehensive educational opportunities for its members – both men and women – to help them excel in their professions. They also strive to maintain high standards throughout the mortgage industry, work for equal recognition and opportunities for women, and bring their members together for the exchange of experiences, ideas, and interests in all phases of mortgage banking at the local, regional, and national levels, the company stated.
“I have always believed that participating in industry associations benefits both the organizations and the executives who participate,” Rouse said. “I’m proud to work alongside my peers for a stronger home finance industry.”
ALS is a leading provider of high quality appraisal management and compliance solutions for the residential/commercial mortgage industry.
