The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) has partnered with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) to provide their 8,000-plus members access to ASA’s appraisal review education and credentialing programs leading to the Appraisal Review Management (ARM) designation, ASA announced on its website.
IAAO members now can augment their professional development with the leading appraisal review courses prepared and presented by experienced ASA thought leaders and practitioners to pursue the ARM designation.
“There is a growing demand for qualified professionals who specialize in appraisal review, especially those in the real property space,” ASA CEO Johnnie White said, commenting on the partnership. “Those who are educated and credentialed by organizations like ASA and IAAO will have a distinct competitive advantage.”
IAAO Executive Director Ron Worth expressed his gratitude.
“We are thrilled with the new opportunity of providing our members with another credential to add to their professional development,” Worth said. “The partnership we have enjoyed with Johnnie White and his team of professionals allows IAAO to expand its offerings to our membership and the profession.”
