CoreLogic filed a notice with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development stating that its Bloomington office will close by Dec. 31 with layoffs beginning July 8, according to an article in the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The notice, which indicated 184 employees would be laid off, was required under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
“The Bloomington office is part of the company's appraisal operation. Some of the work will be moved to a location in Dallas and workers may apply for jobs there,” CoreLogic spokeswoman Alyson Austin said in an email to the Minnesota newspaper.
CoreLogic had 5,800 total employees as of Dec. 31, 4,900 of them in the U.S. CoreLogic does not have any other offices in Minnesota, the article said.
