ASA announces 2018-2019 election results

The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) announced the results of its 2018-19 elections for the new International Officers, Board of Governors and Discipline Committee Officers and Members At-Large. Those elected will take office July 1, 2018, ASA announced in a release.
The newly-elected International Officers are:
- International President— Robert B. Morrison, ASA
- International Vice President— Douglas R. Krieser, ASA
- International Secretary/Treasurer— Lorrie Beaumont, ASA
The new Board of Governors are:
- Business Valuation Discipline Governor— Bruce A. Johnson, ASA
- Machinery & Technical Specialties Discipline Governor— John Mathe, ASA
- Personal Property Discipline Governor— Tom Simatos, ASA
- Real Property Discipline Governor— Raymond H. Krasinski
The Appraisal Review & Management Discipline Committee will comprise of:
- Chair - Ernest A. Demba, FASA and Jack Young, ASA (tie vote – to be determined by a run-off election)
- Vice Chair - J. Mark Penny, ASA
- Treasurer - Travis L. Avant, ASA
- Secretary - Joel D. Gonia, ASA
The Business Valuation Discipline Committee, comprising of members at-large (five opens seats), are:
- Nancy M. Czaplinski, ASA
- Matthew R. Crow, ASA
- KC Conrad, ASA
- Gary T. Frantzen, ASA
- Ryan A. Gandre, ASA
The Gems & Jewelry Discipline Committee, comprising of members at-large (two open seats), are:
- Susan Eisen, ASA, MGA
- Cynthia L. Konney, ASA, MGA
The Personal Property Discipline Committee, comprising of members at-large (two open seats), are:
- Abigail Athanasopoulos, ASA
- Peter Held, AM
