Hilco Valuation Services, LLC, a company specializing in appraising and assessing the market value of inventory, machinery and equipment, intellectual property and full enterprises at the manufacturing, wholesale/distribution and retail levels, announced that CEO Thomas A. Greco appointed Adam Evans to the position of senior vice-president/ business development manager for the Eastern region of the United States supporting the valuation, monetization and advisory platforms, the company announced in a release.
Evans has been with Hilco since 2001, having most recently served as the Business Development Manager for the Midwest and Central Canadian region. In this new role, Evans will focus on financial institutions as well as investment banks and other professional services advisory companies in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. He will also call on private equity, hedge funds and family offices, the release said.
Evans, who will begin his new assignment with the company immediately, joined Hilco in 2001 as an industrial appraiser with the machinery and equipment valuation team. Since 2006, Evans has managed multiple territories for Hilco Valuation Services, including the Western and Southwestern United States before moving to the Midwest in 2011. Evans is highly regarded within the industry having built lasting relationships with banks, private equity firms, investment banks, turnaround restructuring groups and other members of the financial services community.
