Valuation Partners, a national appraisal management company with access to over 10,000 independent fee appraisers in all 50 states, has named three mortgage and valuation industry veterans to its management team:

• Damon Zeigler has been appointed vice president, vendor management
• Amanda McIntyre has been promoted vice president of operations
• Rick Smith has been appointed vice president - controller

Zeigler brings more than 22 years of appraisal and mortgage industry experience to Valuation Partners, with particular expertise in client relations, vendor management and financial analysis.  He has held numerous senior level operations and vendor management roles in the appraisal and real estate services industries, including 21 years at LSI, a leading lender processing services provider, where he served as vice president of vendor management. At Valuation Partners, Zeigler will be responsible for broadening the company’s appraiser and Realtor networks. He holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in economics and mathematics from Washington and Jefferson College.

McIntyre has more than 10 years of appraisal operations experience in addition to a thorough knowledge of customer service and effective and efficient support services. She previously served as operations manager for Valuation Partners. In her new role, she will be responsible for improving the company’s operational systems, processes and policies, including its management reporting, information flow and management, and organizational planning. McIntyre holds a B.A. in business administration from the University of Toledo.

Smith brings more than 30 years of specialized real estate finance experience to his new role. A licensed CPA and real estate taxation expert, Smith previously worked for Cavalear, a nationally-recognized real estate firm. He will lead Valuation Partners in securing the financing and capital requirements necessary to meet the company’s current and projected growth, while directing its overall financial management, reporting and forecasting. Smith holds a B.S. in accounting at Bowling Green State University.

“Valuation Partners has been growing rapidly, as the mortgage industry's demand for new, innovative valuation products and services remains enormous," said Bill Fall, CEO of Valuation Partners. “By adding Damon, Amanda and Rick to our executive team, we will be well equipped to meet this continued demand. These executives and the breadth of skills they bring to the table will help us to respond quickly to the needs of our clients for years to come. I am thrilled to welcome them to the Valuation Partners family."

Valuation Partners is the typical AMC who pays their appraisers nothing and demands everything in return. If you want to become a slave and starve as an appraiser then work for Valuation Partners. Don't believe me. Just wait until you receive your first order. The rest are just as bad or worse. I can't understand why or how any decent appraiser can work for these people. There are far too many other AMCs out there that pay better than these folks. And, if you can't find them then go to work for McDonalds flipping burgers. You'll make more money and work less hours with less stress.
