Valuation Partners, an appraisal management company and third-party intermediary, has expanded its company bringing two new people into the fold to enhance leadership and help handle future growth. Jim Davis joins the team as managing director of loan servicing, while David Raskin becomes the chief valuation officer.
Davis has more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience working with lenders comprising of staffs exceeding 1,000 people and portfolios consisting of more than 2 million loans. His expertise lies in government affairs, default administration and business management for prime and sub-prime portfolios.
Prior to coming to Valuation Partners, Davis served as vice chairman of Stewart Lending Services, leading the company’s acquisitions efforts and all government affairs interactions. He also was an executive vice president of government affairs for American Home Mortgage Servicing/Homeward Residential.
Raskin, a certified residential appraiser in California and Arizona, has more than 30 years of valuation industry experience, with specific expertise in product management, quality assurance, and process improvement. He has managed daily operations of several large appraisal firms, successfully reducing turnaround times, while improving margins and customer satisfaction.
Raskin recently worked at Interthinx/First American, overseeing product planning for all valuation solutions both automated and human driven.
