Mortgage technology provider SharperLending, LLC announced an expansion to its Verisite mobile-based property inspection product. Financial institutions now can get to-the-moment interior and exterior property photos and descriptions combined with newly added property, neighborhood and local market area information to deliver comprehensive property inspections for faster lending decisions.
“The addition of property, neighborhood, and local market information creates a single, complete, powerful property and market data risk analysis report for driving faster originations,” SharperLending President and CEO Dave Black said in a company press release. “The lending industry is moving more and more toward a mobile world where consumer devices are used to securely gather pertinent risk data to vet financial transactions faster. Verisite supports this trend from a collateral valuation standpoint, and we are excited to see where else devices are used in the transaction.”
Verisite products are ideal for loans and sub-loan products that don’t require full real estate appraisals, such as home equity loans, disaster relief inspections, new construction progress evaluations, portfolio reviews, and more. The Verisite mobile app and Verisite deliverable products are available within the Appraisal Firewall residential and commercial real estate appraisal software and via API for software vendors to control their users’ experience, the company said.
