The New Jersey Sharing Network has appointed Victor DiSanto of Hillsborough to its Foundation Board of Trustees. The board continues to create strategic initiatives to support the Foundation’s mission increasing the number of lives saved through innovative transplant research, family support, education and public awareness about organ and tissue donation, according to the press release.
It is comprised of a diverse group of individuals from both public and private sectors who have been touched by donation, including donor families and transplant recipients. DiSanto’s son, Joseph, received a heart transplant over 10 years ago.
DiSanto is a member of Sterling DiSanto & Associates, LLC, and has been actively engaged in appraising throughout New Jersey since 1985, joining Schwartz, Sterling & Associates in 1996 and becoming a member of Sterling DiSanto & Associates, LLC in 2002.
“Victor’s skills, along with his passion for his industry, speak volumes to his dedication and work ethic,” said Elisse Glennon, vice president and CEO of the New Jersey Sharing Network and executive director of the foundation. “As volunteers, the DiSanto family’s support has been invaluable. We know Victor will serve as an integral part of the Board and look forward to his guidance and expertise.”
DiSanto has held numerous leadership roles for the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, including president, vice president and second vice president, as well as serving on the board of directors.
