National REO and appraisal management company LRES Corp., has hired Mike Rasooli, a nearly three-decade veteran of technology development, as its new chief technology officer.
Rasooli will oversee the Orange County, Calif.-based company’s appraisal order management technology platform, LRES DirectConnect, and its vendor portal. He will also lead LRES’ future technological efforts.
Rasooli’s resume includes more than 27 years of experience in management, software development and IT experience, including work on enterprise and database management systems, B2C and B2B E-commerce, customer relationship management, document management and mortgage technologies. Most recently, he served as the chief technology officer for Edge Mortgage Advisory Company and PowerSoft 360. He also served as CEO and chief technology officer at LogixInfo, a director of Project Management at Pathways, a senior software engineer at Corbis Images and Timeline and a senior project manager at Microsoft.
Rasooli has a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Darmstadt in Germany.

Founded in 2001, LRES offers property valuations, asset management and technology solutions for mortgage bankers, lenders, servicers, credit unions and private investors in both the origination and default markets. Last year, the company acquired Tulsa, Okla.-based appraisal management company Lenders Choice.
