National appraisal management company Dart Appraisal recently announced several key employee promotions and a new hire.
The Troy, Mich.-based company promoted Tom Moser, Dart’s quality control manager, to director of quality control. Moser, who has been with Dart since 2011, will be responsible for directing the company’s quality-control initiatives, systems, programs and personnel.
Rachel Lasater, Dart’s client service manager, will be its new operations manager. Lasater, who has been with Dart since 2003, will oversee vendor management, appraiser engagement, appraisal status and overall production management in her new role.
Megan Schaefer has been promoted from appraiser liaison to service level manager, where she will lead the company’s appraiser engagement and appraisal status teams.
Certified residential appraiser Dave Mapley will be Dart’s new appraisal review team leader, where he will ensure that the company’s commitment to quality control is fulfilled.
Finally, Dart has hired Derek Jerome, a licensed realtor who formerly served as a technical recruiter for staffing services firm Kforce Inc., as its new vendor manager. Jerome will work with the company’s nationwide appraiser panel to organize appraisers based on competence and performance and offer them counseling and coaching.
Founded in 1993, Dart focused on appraisal management and has a direct relationship with appraisers and clients.
