Comergence, a provider of third-party risk-management platforms for the mortgage industry, announced that it now is providing appraiser due diligence and screening services for OrderProUSA, an appraisal management company (AMC) based in Kansas City, Mo.
Comergence, which offers a full suite of hands-on and automated services for screening and compliance monitoring, will provide its proprietary REALM for Appraisers services to the appraisers who work for OrderProUSA.
Appraisers pay an annual fee to set up a single online profile that can be shared electronically with any AMC and lender they choose. The online profile can help appraisers save time and the expense of having to submit themselves for verification every time they want to work with a new or existing partner. Status changes immediately are provided to AMCs and lenders, delivering ongoing insight and the ability to effectively manage their relationships and help ensure compliance.
REALM for Appraisers provides AMCs with online tools to efficiently and cost-effectively meet all regulatory requirements.
“We’re very happy to add OrderProUSA to our list of clients,”Comergence President Greg Schroeder said. “As a nationwide appraisal management company, compliance is clearly important to OrderProUSA. By using our services, they can be confident that the appraisers they work with are verified professionals.”
“REALM for Appraisers streamlines our appraiser approval process, and at the same time, helps our lender clients remain compliant with all the rules and regulations governing appraisers,” said Anthony Nguyen, director of operations for OrderProUSA. “Appraisers need only set up and maintain a single profile, which reduces costs for both OrderProUSA and the appraisers who work with us. We especially like the continuous monitoring feature, which makes appraiser compliance and due diligence a much easier undertaking.”
