Colliers, a diversified professional services and investment management company, recently announced the appointment of Anjanette “AJ” Hutson as executive managing director for portfolio management within its Valuation & Advisory Services business in the U.S., according to a release.
In her new role, Hutson will oversee the operation of the portfolio management team within the service line, streamlining workflow and elevating the level of service excellence for multi-market valuation assignments.
“I look forward to partnering with the expert teams at Colliers to exceed expectations and deliver enduring value to our clients,” Hutson said in the release. “The firm’s enterprising platform and culture are true differentiators in the marketplace, and I am excited to build on these fundamental values to further enhance Colliers’ market-leading presence.”
Hutson brings more than 20 years of valuation experience to Colliers, most recently serving as senior vice president for Truist Bank, formerly SunTrust and BB&T. She was recently honored with an appointment as a member of the Appraisal Standards Board and will serve for 2023-2024.
Hutson and the portfolio management team will partner closely with market leaders within the company’s Valuation & Advisory Services business to better liaise with local teams to coordinate fulfillment and successful execution of multi-market appraisal opportunities, the company said.
“Adding an industry veteran like AJ, who brings extensive expertise in portfolio valuation, commercial real estate valuation, appraisal review and process management to Colliers is further evidence of our commitment to best-in-class client service,” said Jerry Gisclair, executive vice president of Client Relations & Service/Colliers Valuation & Advisory Services. “I am confident that under AJ’s leadership, the bar will be raised for servicing our clients nationwide.”
