Valuation Review is in South Carolina attending the 2022 National Association of Appraisers Conference and Trade Show (ACTS). Many topics of appraisal interest will be discussed at the Embassy Suites by the Hilton Charleston Airport Hotel & Convention Center in the next two days.
The event kicked off on Sunday evening with the opening reception giving attendees the opportunity to network with fellow appraisers, as well as stop by the many businesses represented at this year’s conference.
Monday brought some interesting topics and speakers, which we covered live. Featured was John Dingeman on the session topic “Why Do We Say What We Say,” as well as a forms review talk from Freddie Mac’s Scott Reuter. Walitt Solutions’ Josh Walitt will share with attendees the ways to expand their appraisal business, while Fannie Mae’s Keisha Wilkinson will present on how to work with trainees.
We wrap up our stay Tuesday in South Carolina with a session about report writing, another update from Fannie Mae with Lyle Radke, while Craig Capilla, Laura Smith and Dingeman outline the top five common errors and omissions appraisers should take note of.
