Cherry Creek Mortgage announced that Phil Tidwell has been promoted to vice president of marketing operations from his prior role as director of marketing operations, the company announced in a release.
A 10-year veteran of Cherry Creek, Tidwell started as communications and development manager, responsible for internal communications strategy and development of marketing and technical documents, including product advertising, training program materials, eLearning content, and policy and procedure sets, the company stated.
“Phil has played a valuable role in connecting customers to our brand and in elevating our marketing team to a full in-house agency,” David Arnett, chief marketing officer of Cherry Creek Mortgage, said in the release. “His promotion is well deserved.”
Prior to joining Cherry Creek, Tidwell served as educational products development manager at the Financial Planning Association, producing revenue-generating products that provided continuing education credits for certified financial planners. At First Franklin, Tidwell developed eLearning content, training and certification testing programs for underwriting staff, the release said.
At Merrill Lynch, Tidwell managed a team of regional production trainers responsible for training an operations staff of nearly 800 employees including underwriters, processors and closers.
