Appraisal Logistics, a leading provider of high quality appraisal management technology and compliance solutions for the residential/commercial mortgage industry, elected Steven Rouse, regional account manager for the Midwest, to the Board of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) of Missouri, the company announced in a release.
Rouse already serves as committee chair for the Mortgage Bankers Association of St. Louis, as a board member of the Kansas City MBA and is president of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women (NAPMW) of St. Louis.
“I believe that supporting our trade associations is important work,” Rouse said in the release. “It’s an extension of the work I’ve been doing in this industry for the past 20 years. In my new role, I’ll be working alongside some of the most talented and hard-working executives in the industry to make things better for mortgage lenders and the borrowers we serve.”
While the state association’s two chapters work to meet the needs of lenders in the state’s largest cities, the state association serves all of the institutions in Missouri, the release stated.
Located in the state’s capital, the MBA of Missouri’s board members are active in state politics. The trade group also produces the annual Great River Mortgage Conference in Memphis, which serves mortgage lenders in Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee.
“I’m very pleased that Steven has stepped up again to provide industry leadership,” Appraisal Logistics CEO Frank Danna said. “These are challenging times and our industry needs leaders who are willing to do the work that will make a stronger housing industry and a better economy for consumers. I’m very proud of his willingness to take on these additional responsibilities.”
