The Appraisal Institute (AI) conducted a four-hour classroom seminar on artificial intelligence, automated valuation models (AVMs) and Blockchain recently in Denver, AI announced in a news release.
The new seminar, “Artificial Intelligence, AVMs, and Blockchain,” helped valuation professionals understand the components of artificial intelligence including the Internet, Big Data, machine learning and the Internet of things.
The seminar addresses:
- Understanding the relationship of the interplay between the components of artificial intelligence;
- Seeing how real estate appraisal is impacted by technological change that will be further altered by advances in artificial intelligence;
- Learning how to change in order to meet the new challenges;
- Comprehending Blockchain and how it can be used to facilitate real estate transactions;
- Finding out how technologies work in tandem with Blockchain to transform the real estate marketplace; and
- Recognizing the challenges and the potential to gain knowledge that valuation professionals will be able to use to provide more relevant analysis to their clients.
The seminar also will be available Jan. 24, 2020, in Boca Raton, Fla. Future dates and locations for other seminars are expected to be announced later.
