Federal court halts FTC case against LREAB
|
A district court in Louisiana has granted a motion to stay by the Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board (LREAB) in the administrative case brought against it by the Federal Trade Commission.
Judge Brian Jackson ruled that all pending activity in the case must be stayed under further order of the district court, a significant win for LREAB after the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against it earlier this year.
