Integra Realty Resources (IRR), one of North America’s largest independent commercial real estate valuation and consulting firms, says four prominent women leaders have received appointments to prestigious industry groups, the company announced in a press release.
Michelle Alexander, a 25-year commercial real estate industry veteran, has been appointed to the Tennessee Real Estate Appraiser Commission (TREAC) by Gov. Bill Haslam for a three-year term. Alexander, who serves as managing director across Integra Realty Resources’ Mid-South regional offices including IRR-Memphis, IRR-Gulfport, IRR-Jackson, IRR-New Orleans, and IRR-Little Rock, will represent the West Tennessee region.
The TREAC serves under the Department of Commerce and Insurance and is responsible for overseeing education, examinations, experience, administration and licensing of real estate appraisers in the state of Tennessee, the release stated.
Beth B. Finestone, with nearly 40 years as an industry professional and the managing director of IRR-Los Angeles, has been elected as president of the Southern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute (AI). Finestone specializes in valuation and consulting services for public agency and right-of-way clients, with a focus on eminent domain and land appraisals.
She has worked on numerous major transportation projects in central and southern California and is also sought after for her work related to land appraisals for both development sites and mitigation use. She also acts as a review appraiser for many public agencies.
Lori Safer, who brings more than three decades of industry experience, has been elected president of the Seattle Chapter of AI. Safer serves as managing director of IRR-Seattle. Her background includes consulting and valuation for clients including financial institutions, developers, attorneys, local municipalities and various public agencies.
Stacey S. Nicholas, who has worked in the valuation profession for nearly 30 years, has been elected president of the Bluegrass Chapter of AI. Nicholas serves as senior managing director of IRR Kentucky/Southern Indiana. She brings significant experience in the appraisal of a wide range of commercial real estate properties throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana and is part of the IRR Healthcare and Senior Housing specialty practice.
She specializes in real estate economics including counseling, market and marketability studies, and real estate and real estate asset appraisal services. Her clients include private sector lenders, investors, businesses, and tax-exempt entities, real estate developers, and the public sector.
