Metro-West Appraisal Co. LLC, the largest independent residential appraisal firm in the nation, has promoted Michael Shores to vice president of appraiser advancement, Metro-West announced in a press release.
Shores brings years of professional experience and a proven record of success as a staff appraiser for Metro-West. He will be an ambassador to appraisers and Metro-West clients as he promotes best practices and opens up collaborative communication between lenders, appraisal management companies (AMCs) and appraisers, the release stated.
“Having Michael Shores focused on strengthening the working relationships between our clients and our appraisers is a great benefit to not only our organization, but our clients will benefit as well,” Metro-West Chief Operating Officer Brandon Boudreau said in the release.
“Shores will be concentrating on quality control enhancement and implementing new and innovative techniques throughout the appraisal service chain that will be applied to alleviate escalations involving appraisers and increase efficiency. Additionally, Shores will aid in opening the lines of communication between our clients and our appraisers across the nation,” Boudreau added.
Shores will be joining fellow Metro-West innovators, such as Chief Appraiser Greg Stephens, winner of the 2013 Valuation Visionary Award, in contributing to quality improvement.
