APB to discuss various topics in Las Vegas

The Appraisal Practices Board (APB) will hold a public meeting in Las Vegas on Jan. 29 to provide discussion and feedback on various topics. The meeting will take place from 9 a.m. until noon at the Las Vegas Marriott at 325 Convention Center Drive.
The following topics are on the APB’s meeting agenda:
- Collection and verification of residential sales data used in sales comparison approach
- Collection and verification of data used in the sales of comparison approach for non-residential properties
- Valuation of green and high performance property – 1 to 4 unit residential
- Valuation of green and high performance property – commercial, multifamily and institutional
- Valuation for financial reporting (VFR) including VFR work group 2 (The Valuation of Customer-Related Assets), VFR work group 3 (Control Premiums for Financial Reporting) and VFR work group 4 (Valuing Contingent Consideration)
All meeting materials will be posted on The Appraisal Foundation’s website for participants to download. Attendees are encouraged to print their own copies because there will be limited copies available at the meeting.
