Kidder Mathews, a commercial real estate firm providing brokerage, appraisal, property management, consulting, sustainability, and project and construction management services for all property types, is expanding to serve the greater Sacramento area in Roseville, Calif. This will be the 12th office for Kidder Mathews, with others in Washington, Oregon and Arizona.
One of the fastest growing independently owned commercial real estate firms on the West Coast, Kidder Mathews has a staff of more than 500 real estate professionals offering a complete range of brokerage, appraisal, property management, consulting, sustainability, and project and construction management services for all property types. The firm performs $3.2 billion in transactions and conducts 1,300 appraisals annually.
“We have been discussing and seeking opportunities to have a presence in the greater Sacramento market for some time, to add to our three existing bay Area offices in San Francisco, Redwood City and San Jose,” Kidder Mathews Chairman and CEO Jeff Lyon said in a press release. “We are very pleased with this strong nucleus and the addition of 10 new and experienced professionals to build our office around.”
Kidder Mathews attributes its success to its unique platform as well as to the national trend of consolidation in the commercial real estate industry. It is a privately held firm with a streamlined management structure with opportunities for equity for its professionals, and a commission structure that is more favorable to its brokers.
“Although we evaluated many options, Kidder was an easy choice for our team because of their focus on supporting brokers with the highest level of marketing support and resources by comparison to other firms,” Sacramento office Managing Partner Kevin Sheehan said. “This allows us, as service providers, to give the best service to our clients.”
