Dart Appraisal announced the promotion of two team members to newly created positions in management. Tim Laden becomes the first chief appraiser at Dart Appraisal, previously serving as the first quality manager for the AMC, while Tracey Volltrauer has been promoted to director of compliance from vendor manager.
Laden will continue his efforts in appraiser coaching and counseling, while also providing escalation support for our employees, appraisers and customers. Laden is a certified appraiser, and brings more than 25 years of experience in the appraisal and mortgage banking industry to the role.
“Creating a chief appraiser at Dart Appraisal helps to ensure our internal processes are being performed to the highest standards,” Dart Appraisal Executive Vice President Michael Dresden said in a news release. "As part of our commitment to meeting each client's specific needs, we customize solutions and create dedicated teams to continually improve their service every step of the way. Tim will continue to work closely with appraisers to help them understand our expectations and develop the highest quality appraisals for our clients."
Volltrauer assumes a new position with the company, focusing on compliance efforts of state and federal regulations, as well as fulfilling the AMC’s own compliance strategy. Volltrauer joined Dart Appraisal as the vendor coordinator in 2010 and became the company’s first vendor manager two years later.
“The creation of a new director of compliance position within the Dart Appraisal executive team comes as a result of increasingly tight mortgage industry regulation and escalating compliance concerns within the mortgage industry,” Dresden said.. “In this role, Tracey will ensure that all regulatory and consumer protection dictates with respect to home appraisal are completely fulfilled for our lending clients.”
