To ensure that mortgagees have the easiest of experiences when registering for the Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) portal onboarding phase, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) has issued a delay regarding the opening of the registration capability in its FHA Connection (FHAC) system.
In a news release, the FHA said it is working diligently to restore the onboarding registration capability and expects it to be fully operational Aug. 26. If not, the FHA will be providing additional communication and updates concerning this matter.
In addition, FHA said it was extending the feedback period from the draft Claims and Disposition section of the Single Family Housing Policy Handbook through Oct. 5, 2015. The original deadline date for providing feedback was Sept. 4.
