The Appraisal Institute’s Annual Meeting, held Aug. 1-3,  gave appraisers the opportunity to come together to catch up and discuss the obstacles the industry is facing. One of the most prevalent connections to make at the meeting was the appraisal legislative and regulatory update. If the prevalence of political ads haven’t already tipped you off – progress is slow on Capitol Hill as the campaign season gets underway, but there's still plenty of appraisal legislation issues to deal with.
