Residential retail and wholesale lender Carrington Mortgage Services LLC has expanded into four more markets and appointed new leadership with the intention of extending a wide range of product offerings to underserved borrowers, the company announced Aug. 19.
Carrington has opened new branches in Warrington, Va.; Plano and Houston, Texas; and Fishers, Ind. The Warrington office will be led by Jessica Furr; the Plano office by Mike Denton; the Houston office by Oliver de Boer; and the Fishers office by Ryan Higley. All four are experienced Carrington managers.
“As we continue our trajectory of growth, we want to ensure that we are effectively meeting the needs of consumers in many markets throughout the U.S., as well as maturing our processes and systems to keep pace while maintaining our loan quality, and remaining sharply focused on servicing the underserved market,” said Ray Brousseau, executive vice president of Carrington’s mortgage lending division, in a news release.
In addition, Carrington has appointed Jeff Scannicchio as senior vice president. Scannicchio, who recently spent seven years overseeing the U.S. Consumer Direct and Home Equity Operations Groups at JPMorgan Chase & Co., will manage Carrington’s national operations for the Mortgage Lending Division and support the organization’s objectives in continuing to grow the operation’s functional capacity, efficiency and market share.
In making these announcements, Carrington also reiterated its commitment to serving consumers with FICO scores below 650 and expanding its guidelines on several federal loan programs to extend eligibility to more borrowers and property types.
Founded in 2007, Santa Ana, Calif.-based Carrington is an equal housing opportunity lender licensed to originate loans in 46 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Its retail lending products include FHA, conventional, jumbo, VA and USDA loans.
