TitleVest, a member of the First American family of companies and a provider of title insurance and related real estate services, announced it is expanding its Grow Paperless initiative in support of the Arbor Day Foundation.
Through its partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, TitleVest donates one tree for every TitleVest.com account that opts for electronic delivery of reports. TitleVest’s Interactive Online Report offers web-based tools to streamline the title review process.
TitleVest clients who choose to switch to paperless delivery during the remainder of 2016 will help to re-establish the original longleaf pine ecosystem of the Choccolocco State Forest of Alabama, providing wildlife habitat and recreation for visitors and outdoor enthusiasts.
“We are honored to extend our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation’s Replanting Our Forests initiative,” said Brian D. Tormey, president of TitleVest. “In an industry where document management is essential, TitleVest continues to lead the way with industry-best technology that aligns convenience for our clients with a commitment to sustainability. And, having started my career in the timber industry, I am personally excited to see us continue improving forests for homeowners to enjoy nationwide.”
“The Arbor Day Foundation’s mission to plant, nurture and celebrate trees comes to life in programs like Replanting Our Forests. Large-scale reforestation efforts would not be possible without the support of companies like TitleVest,” said Dan Lambe, president of Arbor Day Foundation. “Forests across our nation and around the globe affect us all by providing benefits, such as clean air and water, wildlife habitat, natural beauty and recreational opportunities.”
Since the inception of Grow Paperless, TitleVest has helped the Arbor Day Foundation plant more than 7,000 trees in the Florida State Forest, Modoc National Forest (Calif.), Michigan State Forest, Pere Marquette State Forest (Mich.), and Four Creeks State Forest (Fla.).
