Simplifile has made several new hires to better support its mortgage lending clients and product lines.
“The need for lenders and settlement service providers to work more closely has drastically increased post-TRID,” Simplifile President Paul Clifford said in a press release. “Simplifile has seen growing interest from lenders in our collaboration and post-closing solutions, and we’ve responded by injecting new talent into our organization to support these initiatives.”
Chris Lohman was named director of lender experience. He has more than 20 years’ mortgage industry experience, specializing in retail and wholesale lending operations management and lending software implementation. In his role as director of lender experience at Simplifile, he oversees lender implementation for the collaboration and post-closing solutions, advises lenders on best practices, works with product development and actively manages customer relationships. His most recent work experience includes high-level positions with Xerox Mortgage Services, Midtown Bank and RBC Bank.
David Majewski was named a director of strategic initiatives. He brings more than 29 years of mortgage lending and settlement services experience to his role as the director of strategic initiatives at Simplifile, where he provides mortgage and title industry expertise, as well as product and project management experience throughout the entire mortgage lifecycle. Prior to Simplifile, Majewski worked with TitleSource, Opteum Financial Services and Baytree Mortgage. He holds two patents in packaging design/engineering.
Greg Yeager also was named a director of strategic initiatives. As a software and business process expert in the financial services market, he brings his extensive mortgage origination technology experience in his role as director of strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Simplifile, Yeager was responsible for developing technology and workforce solutions for consumer lending, retail banking and wealth management products at Xerox.
In addition, Simplifile also has made several new hires in supporting departments as the needs of the company have grown – Steve McDonald as national accounts director, Amber Hanneken as marketing communications manager and Bryan Young as director of strategic alliances.
