Indecomm Global Services launched InteleDoc Direct (IDD) eRecording Platform with Recopedia, Indecomm’s national recording toolkit. In an announcement, Indecomm said it is the only company in the industry to enhance a web-based eRecording platform with a toolkit that provides current county specific requirements and fee calculation for all real estate document recordings.
The platform is available in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. IDD with Recopedia enables Indecomm or client-directed submissions with ease and minimal data entry, at any point in the process.
Most industry eRecording systems offer prompts and tips about county requirements. Indecomm, however, provides the exact county specifications. Indecomm is unique in providing a toolkit which is available to attorneys, title agents and lenders at any point in the title and closing process, the company said. It offers precise recording fee calculations, comprehensive recording checklists with information on how to accurately submit documents, county turn times and more. It also offers the ability to track and stay within tolerances for recording fees under the TRID rules.
“Our goal has always been to provide a single platform that meets the industry’s need for a full service eRecording system combined with a toolkit to review submissions,” Indecomm Global Services Vice President Channel Partner Management Latha Parameswaren said. “This enables a high first-time county acceptance rate.”
Efficient recording requires that documents meet county requirements at the time they are prepared. This can be achieved through access to accurate and timely updates that are fed to Indecomm’s proprietary information engine, Recopedia.
“Leveraging Recopedia through IDD delivers the most value to the client,” Parameswaran said. “We design solutions which are powerful and easy to use, based on our hands-on experience.”
Indecomm’s current eRecord footprint covers more than 63 percent of the population, and the company said it is aggressively pursuing a 70 percent coverage goal. Indecomm records more than 400,000 mortgage documents annually.
“Our customers demand increasingly powerful solutions,” said Rajan Nair, CEO, Financial Services Division, Indecomm Global Services. “We must anticipate, as well as adapt to, the many changes happening in our customers’ businesses.”
