The Florida Agency Network (FAN) named Raymond Suarez as general counsel for its Southeast Division, encompassing Trident Title, Progressive Title Solutions and Performance Title and Escrow.
“We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ray Suarez to the Florida Agency Network,” FAN CEO Aaron Davis said. “Ray brings over 30 years of title industry experience to our team, both residential and complex commercial transaction experience, and legal guidance for our staff and our clients. He will no doubt be a huge asset to us and our clients.”
Suarez attended Inter-American University of Puerto Rico where he graduated Magana Cum Laude. He received his law degree Delaware School of Law of Widener College located in Wilmington, Delaware, and in 1979 he was admitted to practice law in both Florida and New York. In 1996, Suarez moved his family to Parkland, Fla., where he went to work for Universal Land Title, as soon thereafter was named general counsel.
As general counsel for FAN’s Southeast Division, Suarez will help guide staff through legal matters and be a valuable resource to the embodying agencies’ clients by ensuring each transaction is executed with the highest professional and ethical standards of the title insurance industry, according to the company’s announcement.
