Simplifile, an e-recording service provider, appointed Nancy Alley to the position of vice president of strategic planning.
“Simplifile is not only a leader in e-recording, but they are also a leader in industry innovation,” Alley said. “The position was a good match of my passion for all things ‘e’ and shaping the future of the mortgage industry.”
Alley has been a leader in the mortgage and financial services industry for nearly 22 years, dedicating herself to the mortgage technology space for the past 15 years. She received several awards including recognition as a “Woman of Influence” by HousingWire Magazine in 2012, a “Tech All-Star” by Mortgage Banking Magazine in 2012, and she was awarded the Mortgage Technology “Steve Fraser Visionary Award” in 2011.
“I love mortgage technology because I truly believe innovation is the key to reinventing our industry,” Alley said. “That’s what I love about Simplifile; the company is passionate about and committed to innovation and excellence.”
Prior to joining Simplifile, Alley was the chief product officer of ISGN Corp. and gained an extensive knowledge of cloud-based offerings as a Xerox Mortgage Services executive.
“We are truly grateful to have Nancy join the Simplifile team and lead our strategic initiatives,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “Nancy’s vast experience and innovative inclination will help significantly move the company forward in many areas. Nancy has proven herself to be an exceptional strategist and leader, and we anticipate her directly influencing many of our core initiatives.”
